The Full Estate.
A complete timber estate, conceived and raised as one continuous work. Four to five years from the first forest walk to the day you hand the keys to the next generation. One commission per cycle.

Everything around the fire.
In the Russian tradition, the banya was never a building. It was the centre of a family ritual. Hot steam, cold water, fire, silence, the long table where everyone gathered after, the garden you walked through between. We build that entire landscape as one continuous composition. One master craftsman. One grain of timber carried across every element. A sanctuary your family returns to, week after week, for a lifetime.
A current commission, in concept, for a private New Zealand family. Shared with the client's blessing, names withheld by agreement.
The Banya Itself
Hand-scribed, Siberian joinery, every log fitted by Ilia. Traditional stove or modern integration, your choice.
The Cold Plunge
Timber-clad, spring-fed or chilled. The second half of the ritual, without which the first is incomplete.
The Outdoor Pavilion
A covered gathering space beside the banya. Dining, lounging, the long conversation that happens after the heat.
The Garden Furniture
Benches, daybeds, a banya-side table. Hand-turned from timber matched to the structure itself.
The Landscape
Stone pathways, fire circle, planters. The space between elements is designed with the same care as the elements themselves.
The Details
Birch switches, timber buckets, bespoke hooks and handles. The small objects that make the ritual feel like it has always been there.

When the full estate is not the brief, a single piece can still carry the same tradition. Every artisan commission is hand-crafted by Ilia from the same timber species we raise our estates in. Pieces for your garden, pieces for your rooms.
A Banya on Its Own.
Not every site calls for the full Banya Estate. Sometimes the answer is a single, perfect banya, hand-scribed in the Siberian tradition and tucked into an existing garden, beside an existing pool, behind a home that is already complete. The same mastery as our estates, in a single, extraordinary structure.
