Who we are
Siberian Timber Craft is a division of Odyssey Projects Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. This notice covers information you share with us through handscribed.co.nz and any correspondence related to a commission enquiry.
What we collect
When you submit a private enquiry through the Pathway form, we receive the information you choose to share: your name and email, and optionally your phone number, location, timeline, and a description of the life you are imagining. We do not collect any information passively through the site beyond what a standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed), which we use only to operate the site and defend against abuse.
How we use it
Your enquiry is read personally by our Directors. We use it only to respond to you, arrange a private call or meeting if there is alignment, and carry that conversation forward into a commission if you decide to proceed. We do not send marketing emails. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for any purpose other than delivering a commission you have engaged us for.
Where it is stored
Enquiry submissions are transmitted to a secure database hosted by Supabase on our behalf. Email correspondence is handled through standard business email infrastructure operated under Odyssey Projects. All personal information is held in confidence.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry information for as long as the conversation remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter in case you return. If you would like your information removed from our records, write to us and we will action the request within ten working days.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request correction of anything that is inaccurate. Visitors from the European Union and United Kingdom may also have rights under the GDPR, which we will honour on request.
