The Survey
Before a single design is drawn, we get to know your land as intimately as Ilia knows his timber. Geology, solar patterns, wind, water flow, ecological context. The resulting Site Intelligence Report becomes the foundation your estate is built upon, and the first chapter of your Build Chronicle.
The Design Atelier
This is where your life becomes architecture. We don't start with a floor plan. We start with you. How do you wake up? How does your family gather? Where does light matter most? The design grows from the totality of how you live, not from a brief on a page.
You'll travel to where your timber grows. Ilia walks you through the forest, teaches you to read grain and density, and you personally select the logs that will become your home. It's not a factory tour. It's the moment your estate stops being an idea and becomes something real. A memory your family will carry forever.
The Build
This is where patience becomes permanence. Ilia is on your site, shaping every log by hand. You're invited to visit, to watch a master at work, to smell the timber, to see your home rise from the earth. A commissioned photographer captures the moments that matter.
The first hand-scribed log is placed in a formal ceremony, champagne, photographs, a moment you'll remember. When the walls reach full height, you stand inside the raw frame of your future home for the first time. The scale. The scent. The light filtering through timber that was shaped for you alone.
The Handover
This isn't paperwork. This is the emotional climax of a multi-year relationship. Day one: a private walkthrough of every room, every system. Day two: your first night in residence, just your family, no one else. Day three: the Provenance Panel is unveiled, the leather-bound Build Chronicle is placed in your hands, and we celebrate together.
The Stewardship
The relationship doesn't end at the door. Ilia returns for seasonal visits in year one, settling inspections, systems tuning, landscape review. Then ongoing Timber Stewardship: annual inspections, maintenance, and Build Chronicle updates. The same hands that built your home look after it. In perpetuity.
